Heroes Are Hard To Find:
Movie Magic?
Mike Looney and Mike Humphrey, pictured at right
along with Rory Dukes, have entered into an agreement to produce the movie
of Mike’s novel, Heroes Are Hard To Find. Mike Humphrey has previously
produced two films and has a strategic relationship with ATO Pictures,
the film arm of the Dave Matthews Band Organization. Production of Heroes
is currently in the budget raising phase and has plans to shoot in Oklahoma
to take advantage of film incentives, crew availability, and workable
locations.

Mike’s short story, Fly on the Backstop
which is based on a true confrontation between baseball greats Willie
Mayes and Don Drysdale, will be published in the May issue of Spitball
